Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

1. What has kept you at TD?- After 30+ years, there is no point changing as I won't find a job anywhere else. Plus I get to travel a lot and keep my airline status high
   1. How long will you stay?- Until retirement
   2. Are you happy?- I get to tend to my farm animals when I'm meant to be working and don't have to go into the office so it's a cruisy job
   3. Are you looking?- Whats the point as it's not like anyone would take my time at Teradata as being a good thing

1. family responsibilities (or that's what i blame on it), my last engagement it was good
2. Way longer than i should have.
3. definitely not happy, not because of culture but the work i am doing has limited my future opportunities and i ma working everyday to be market ready again.

1. What has kept you at TD?
   -- Entirely 2 reasons. First, the current state of the job market. Second, even being at Teradata is better than being homeless. Although that line gets closer and closer every day.

2.How long will you stay?
-- 5 minutes longer than when I recieve my next job offer

1. Are you happy?
   -- Every day the second I log off

2. Are you looking?
   -- Constantly

Nothing. Just waiting on new job offer to come through.
