Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

wellness center is so offensive

all of the “It’s okay to not be okay, you’ve got a team who cares” emails…Pick a lane, either Own being a sweatshop or actually treat associates with respect and kindness.
At this point, it would not surprise me if they are creating a list of people who reach out to wellness for layoffs.

Offerring onsite 'Wellness' centers is a cheap technique from Fiserv to collect your Health Profile. If any deviation in your health stats, your employment WILL BE impacted, period.

Select your own doctor and insist on HIPAA violations and the consequences.

Your health profile IS YOUR DATA only not your Employer's.

@b4 You may not be aware of the fact that "Fiserv holds and manages the health Fund' ( self managed health fund ) as opposed to an insurer..

United Health Care is the 'just the benefits administrator' according to the guidelines dictated by FIserv while Fiserv takes your monthly insurance premiums into a health fund and pays the claims as needed. This is the tricky thing..

They collect our health information.. and get rid of high risk employees to avoid payign the health benefits.. Wellness center is the channel to collect your health profile..

DON'T VISIT WELLNESS CENTERS.. Go to your own Doctors and enforce HIPAA to not disclose your health profile..

Back when I was Fiserv paid, (Contractor now) the EAP was helpful and confidential. I also utilized the Wellness Coaching program, but the coach I really liked left the and we had a session about being proactive in response to the many layoffs.

By visiting this 'Wellness' center, you are exposing your health info to the employer.. High risk profiles will be impacted by the employment.

Go to your own Doctor's office for your annuals..

"It is ok to not be ok" is from the military. To encourage veterans to reach out for help with their PTSD. Someone must have noticed the similarities between combat veterans and our current employees when they decided to go with this campaign.
