Seagate sold their ASIC team to Broadcom. I wonder if WD will do the same ? I'm aware of a couple of projects being completely mothballed at WD today.

@ax WD is one of the worst companies I've ever seen at selling and marketing products. They are literally stuck in the stone age. They are happy to be a cash cow and provide no new features. Eventually this will result in failure.
I was on a team that got tossed to the side. Well we were sandisk so maybe that was it. But i learned to never become emotionally attached to a project. You work it until you dont and hope for a next one.
