The pay is awful and they expect your whole life to revolve around this place. Days off don't mean much when they call you in anyway. Work life balance isn't a thing here. It's exhausting.

It’s a dead end job, your life is more important than what Macy’s pays. I’m actually shocked anyone still seeks employment there, you can make more at Walmart. Walmart also give their employees opportunities to participate in stock purchase plans. I dislike both but pick and choose
@ey Yep use your words and do that then see how fast they start cutting your hours to get revenge, I know they done it to me everytime after telling them I can't not come in.
Use your words and say 'No, I can't come in.' Find another job if you don't like this one.
