Don’t think so, salary arbitrage is becoming a thing of the past. Companies have a choice, 1 high salary region worker with AI can replace 3 lower salary country workers or more. Lean oil companies see this wave of agents as a force multiplier, heavy companies see it as a chance to streamline headcount. The pesky part about deciding who is important to retain is the challenge.

Remember where everything is going. Fire 1 US guy, hire 3 Indian's at lower price, give the Indian guys super raises until they cost more than the US guy they fired... then continue. There is a meme of sitting in a burning building and saying "this is fine".
