Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Question for the people that received severance

To anyone that received a severance and was let go, did the company require you to sign one of those papers/contract/disclosure forms, whatever you want to call it, where it states by agreeing to this severance you will be unable to sue or join any class action lawsuits, and this severs your relationship with Mondelez as far as any recourse, legal action, etc?

The future is DSD…..

eliminated slow selling sku’s.
collect as much data as possible.
orders will be generated sent cross doc via Mondelez warehouses.
merchandising models will slowly drift away.
amazon era has arrived.
Mondelez stock to the moon!!!!

And I take it if a person won't sign it then Mondelez doesn't want to hand over the severance?

Sounds like coercion to me!

It won’t affect unemployment benefits, it just protects mondelez from employees coming back after them. I’d think long and hard about signing that…you will likely regret it!

It is standard, but I would never sign under the current environment. I know people that have settled with them for far more than a lousy severance!
