You make contact with the hiring manager prior to the meeting and develop some rapport, identify some people in common, only to have an unlisted 3rd party join the Meet, who is inevitably some “distinguished” tw-t that throws curveball questions about things that were only discussed among the team in the last weekly meeting, and documented in a locked Google Doc. Indians hiring Indians.

they are not supposed to do curveball questions on interviews. obviously they dont know US labor laws or the Verizon recruiting process. last weird interview I had was with an indian person. I cant believe how inappropriate they are on interviews. you are better off looking elsewhere. dont work for them. even my neighbor is indian told me not to work for an indian.
I have bad news - it's no better outside of Verizon.
GTS is a nepotistic cesspool of corruption and deception that is allowed to exist for reasons that are completely unknown. The tops 3 layers of leadership need to be removed, replaced by outside new hires, same with VZI.
Don’t interview with Indians, look at GTS teams, they’re 90% curry lovers.
