Bell laid off 300 individuals, mostly related to the MV-75 program. Due to cost cuts and the program transitioning out of design and into production.

Furloughed without the right to reinstatement for a period of six months:
375 employees on May 29 and 285 on June 1.
285 layoffs is the official number, as of June 1, 2026. Also, a large number of MV-75 related staff still employed are being furloughed starting June 15, 2026, for up to 3 weeks. Presumably to make quarterly numbers and help bridge gap to next contract disbursement in Sept. (Good Luck everybody!)
