Which of the roles has the best job security and advancement opportunity? Need to get away from Fidelity where layoffs are over my head every month.

Fidelity? Where are you located? Because if interested in TIAA it better be close to Dallas, Charlotte, NYC or Chicago versus Boston or other cities Fido is located. No such thing as virtual FC here WFH is extremely limited and going away.
EVPs rather 400+ Denver folks leave the firm than any of them be remote, while another 200 or so relocated to TX and NC and 300+ were "sold to" Accenture. Rumor that started back in early 2023 is nearly complete in a few weeks with the last Denver wave.
Rumor now is the next communication in August 2026 or early 2027 is to have basically force many more WFH folks to choose to commit to an office and relocate themselves.
If I were you, I would apply anywhere but here.
