Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

100 Billion invested in fiber and wireless

"Months before it sold Warner Media to Discovery, it spun off the satellite broadcaster DirecTV, another prong in AT&T's media strategy, with a loss to shareholders of about $49 billion. By The Times's calculation, between the Time Warner and DirecTV deals AT&T has squandered close to $100 billion"
Had stupid id--t ratty invested even half of that in the network so we could be "THE" company that kept everyone connected we would be on top of the world and not even worrying about any layoffs anywhere!!!
Yet he still gets his millions in retirement after putting us in the toilet!!!

Knowing the MBA carrying chief of staff fools who run the company's operations, they'd have spent the $100B on Huawei and ZTE equipment regardless of the security risks. It would have been a total loss for us either way.
