Windsor Locks got hit this week. Mostly older employees. Seems that Raytheon does not like to employ anyone over 50.

It was brutal. I lost my mentor and several of my friends. Great engineers but that does not matter.
Engineering is taking a major hit as most of the work they do is now being automated.
I heard it was pretty brutal. Best of luck to those affected. In CT look at NG and EB for opportunity. Surprised to not see it mentioned here when it happened. Most activity was on Reddit
