Why is there a massive fan center set up in the mezzanine? What a giant waste of money and time. The office is a place for working, not watching meaningless soccer matches under the guise of finding oil.

I love what they have done for the World Cup. God forbid we have any fun at work. What is wrong with people?
Some people just got to complain about anything. I don’t even like soccer, and I think it’s a nice thing to do.

You would choke if you know how much was spent on exclusive World Cup access for execs and guests not just in Houston but around the country. Absolutely eye-watering. The mezzanine is their way of "giving back" to the minions.
The fan center is for all the non US employees who understand football call the game football and have been retained in Houston to make up for lack of basic engineering knowledge of the local folks.
@a5 I would say the sole purpose of the office is bootlicker....I dont see any 'work ' being done..do you?
