Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

What was the last round of severance like?

For the October layoffs, how much severance was offered? Was it 3 weeks for every year still?

There should be no limit to the number of weeks due to the company robbing our PENSIONS AND MEDICAL BENEFITS

2 weeks of pay for every year of service, STI paid out 100% as well as stock together and your severance pay was calculated as your base and STI included e.g. if you made 50k with 10% STI then your severance was paid out as if your pay was 55k.

2 weeks per year capped at 35 weeks. Only the VSP in 2018 had more severance (in recent years).

“…sans 2018”???

I’m a Verizon employee and I don’t officially know what it is either.

I heard 2 weeks for every year service capped at 25 years once a few years ago.

It’s the same severance package as always sans 2018. Do you work for Verizon you should know what it is.
