I wonder how many of us is lacking motivation to be productive now. Personally I am just waiting on the outcome of the VSP. I have no motivation now since this has came up. I have tried to be productive up until this but I just can’t get motivated enough to go above and beyond like before. It’s a struggle to remain focused.

Ten year employee here; just hit my anniversary at the end of February. If after a decade of always willingly learning new things and taking on additional responsibilities (including those at leadership levels AND frequently serving as an "interim" supervisor when mine is out), helping out everyone who asks to the very best of my abilities, always exceeding expectations and smashing goals they think I'm going to KEEP doing that if I get laid off? Yeah, they're on some serious mind-altering substances. I will be doing the ABSOLUTE bare minimum necessary to get paid. In my decade, I've consistently had the highest productivity of anyone on any team I've been on. If this happens? I'm intentionally tanking that. No loyalty to the disloyal.
@OP then London gets on saying “we have the hard conversations..” how about we have the hard conversation about how she makes millions a year off Medicaid system that was made for the poor while her staff that care for those poor is cut by the thousands!
Hard to focus on meeting numbers for their fat wallets of millions when they dabble the fact that basically we aren’t worth saving to them. CEOs pay alone keep us all here .
Productivity is fine for now...once VSP and the other layoff wave happens its gonna plunge a lot...just go about your day till the narrative changes ...it will be soon
👋🏻 just don’t care anymore. Simple as that. Fire me so I can collect unemployment for a bit. lol.
Since Sarah took over the company has gone to sh-t. Whatever happens, happens, but my motivation is not happening any time soon.
I have been crushing the internet and job hunting online, all day, for the past year while working at Centene. I've been updating training all on their dimes. A big F U. I'm loving it and will milk it till they walk me out the door. Bare Minimum!
@a8 I wonder how this will all affect people that are actually in the office everyday. as opposed to those that are 100% WFH.
Not going above and beyond for anything. Did not apply for VSP, they will have to fire me, and I won’t be upset if they do.
There is going to have to be massive reorganization and I figure I am saving up my energy for all the extra work that will hit those not cut or volunteering to quit…
Plus we all pretty much get lumped into meets expectations now no matter what. I am pretty much the Office Space guy at this point.
the police will need to file a missing person's report for my f*cks to give, 'cause they are nowhere to be found.
CHECKED OUT!!!! Check back with me July 15th, if I still have a job you will get my full attention. If not, NOTHING. Spending my time now looking for a new job.
Ya’ll are cracking me up.
Don’t give a damn before VSP, and won’t give a damn after VSP. I am planning on applying for VSP, tired of working through this sh-t. I work in Fidelis NY, and Fidelis was a damn good company before Centene bought us out. Gone to sh-t ever since
Congrats, Sarah. Many of us now give 0 fu--s. I’m literally enjoying a cold one right now while at my desk.
quite literally fck all of this sht... if it's not critical (which when is it ever truly an emergency), it's not getting done. I will be mentally checked out until further notice.
I didn't apply for the VSP, but I am anxiously waiting to know who on my team is leaving and if I'm staying, how much is my work load going to increase.
I'm awake and I'm logged on, that's enough for today. we'll try again tomorrow.
@OP 🍻
