Ha,
Just look at the flowers.
I don’t know if there are tech offices in Sacramento, but CSSB for Money Services businesses is there. I think there are business execution consultants there too. Call center was let go earlier in the year that was in Sacramento.
WIM Ops in St. Louis got hit hard again today. Multiple departments.
@dv Not to worry, lots of employers are now shedding many jobs, you will probably get your news sooner rather than later.
I’m in AZ, been patiently putting off quitting in hopes for a severance package. Pick me pleaseeeeee!
After Elon's DOGE review, he has decided to relocate all COO, ITV, XYZ, YYZ, and P-O departments to the planet Mars. We will all accompany them at a later date. Man, that Trumper is really taking us places. Of course, Biden the time was like the Reverend Henry Cane in Poltergeist 2, so not any better. Something tells me we all have more serious reality to face than losing a job.
@d4 everybody else in STL should start packing now. There will be nothing left by end of ‘27. Especially SCM and TPRM, already started actually
@d7 CAO is a trash business group with a trash leader. Hope IE gets all the karma he deserves! FWF
@dc Are there tech offices in Sacramento?
What about Sacramento
Baby I’m doing the needful !! And I NEED to gtfo!!!
@d6 Thanks. I have similar years of service and will let go next month. Hoping to find something else. Started looking already. Best of luck to you.
We just lost 1 in CAO located in Charlotte.
Time to no do the needful while staring at flowers.
CAO is mercilessly implementing location strategy right now. If you're not in an official CAO hub, look out.
@d5 10 years..
@d4 how many years of service?
Saint Louis, MO. Just got let go today. COO CAO.
come get me and take me away
@ae Northern California
@a6 Where in California are you?
I'm not sure what will happen Tuesday, but from what I understand, end of 2027 is the unofficial deadline for all non-hubbers and remotes that don't have friends in high places to be gone. It's going to be depressing getting downsized for no fake reason afterwards. I suppose they'll probably just credit AI after that.
@a1 You know something. I am in CA and remote. I was told my position will be impacted next month.
I would also like to know, I am a remote employee working from WA state, and WF has kept us in the dark as far as layoffs go. Maybe somebody else knows more? We were told we would be terminated in October 2025, then February 2026 and now the room is silent no further discussions. Its annoying, I want my severance package! Give it to me!
As I understand it, the banking is heavily targeting California employees in Q3.
