Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

they finally sold the planes

and fired 8 pilots plus support / maintenance staff. Why on earth did it take so long? Only just did it these last few weeks?

@13q That’s a far cry from Frank being allowed to use the planes for personal use. I didn’t know about the OFS planes. Thx for the correction. What year were they sold? Ish?

In original Fiserv, Banking ITI has 3 planes they used for Bank conversions and to take staff between offices. Yabuki made them sell them off well before the merger. Original Fiserv did charter private planes from time to time. For example when the St. Louis office was hit by a tornado.

@OP Original Fiserv didn’t have planes or pilots or the admin staff to go along with it. Or the GSO. That came with First Data and Frank. I was hoping they would get rid that. Now maybe they can give managers and above the increase they denied us!

@j8 Gold star for the details, champ! The flight clearly left an impression… unlike, you know, where you actually landed. Is it D.C or NJ? Are you WFH or on-site? I understand it’s too much to remember.

From AI: Managing and maintaining 2 private planes under an in-house Fortune 500 flight department costs $8 million to $15 million each year

Let’s split the difference and call it $11M per year.
2018 - 2026 is approx $90M spent on private planes

All while they fired massive amounts of staff and plundered the company via artificially inflated stock prices.

No wonder FB got a job working in this administration. He passed the corruptness test.

Disgusting

Personal use of the corporate jet was part of his employment contract.

So you mean to tell me Fiserv paid for private planes, pilots and staff so Frank could go wherever he wanted yet do constant layoffs during his tenure to cut costs? What a sc-mbag

It all makes sense now. I used to wonder how some SVPs were in NJ and Vegas on the same day during forum. Will this year’s forum look different? They’ll be flying economy with the rest of the team?

look up Robert Goetz on LI
he’s a pilot that was impacted and he says how many other support staff were impacted.
Frank was carrying 2 private jets and a team of 10+ to support.
Shameful while everyone one else was fired and they even stopped ordering paper plates and plastic forks.

I’m curious on how you guys have this scoop? I didn’t know Fiserv had 8 planes let alone a whole crew of people to support them. You guys are some fancy pants here.

Curious why this excites you so much? People lost their jobs and if you think they are going to fly on airlines, you are kidding yourself.
