If there are layoffs today then emails would have already gone out. If people aren't seeing emails then maybe the rumor was false?

They no longer notify people! Only the laid off people and those they interact with often, within the same group, are notified. After I was laid off, I learned weeks later that they told no one. Good thing I told several people myself. This is common when the managers are shady and lay you off unfairly. They are afraid of backlash from teammates.

Not everyone gets a meeting invite. Mine was a ping and a call from my manager.

Yep. I got it today. Sudden invite and when you join you are muted. Last day the 9th. We all know it’s gonna happen. It didn’t come as a shock, I was just riding it out.
It’s happening just got a message from a case manager that she was let go today.
