its not a midyear

Its a check in not a mid-year.

But we are still doing ratings and stack-ranking people and calibrating to the smell curve.

So the real change is, employees dont get a say or the ability to send their accomplishments. As if that would have mattered.

You should absolutely still submit your accomplishments in the system! Otherwise, you're setting up your manager or HR to have the whole story about your rating

You can still provide a list of your accomplishments in the system. Try to do it ahead of time to document what you did before you’re given a rating. I also heard about the calibration which doesn’t make sense to me. Why call it a check-in if it’s not really a check-in. It’s so messy.
