Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

What's it like working in the Omaha NE office?

Got a job offer to work there. What's the culture like in that office?

I love working at Toast in Omaha. We get free lunch, free Toast devices, and my manager is so amazing. They even allow us free tuition reimbursement up to $60,000 for the first year. I love me some Omaha.

@OP Omaha office is fine. Its just a building. But within that building there is nothing but despair. Worked at the Omaha office myself, but its Fiserv. The culture su-ks, co workers are hit or miss, mgmt is atrocious (and this is coming from my perspective as a Finance Manager lol) and too top heavy with no substantial work actually being done at that level.

One thing to consider is that salaries are "competitive" was making 95k as a finance manager and that is considerably low to some of my colleagues out in the Texas and Georgia offices. They will undercut you in salary, and don't fall for any stock programs they offer either. 10/10 would not recommend unless you need the job as a transition while looking for something different. Best of luck

If you need a job then take it. You can always leave if you later learn it’s not for you.

There is no culture. You will not interact with anyone. Bring your earpods though. Everyone is heads down, no personal items at desk, headsets on faking being in a meeting. People disappear with no explanation.

So... Nothing wrong with Omaha. Now fiserv overall su-ks pretty hard. Depending on your director/manager and job it could be ok but don't count on it. Then there are the completely ridiculous change policy and procedures that generate a lots of hate and discontent. I would stay away, not because of Omaha.

I know people like to come here to b!tch but I work with so many people there and no one complains about the culture. I know younger associates love it, it has an awesome cafeteria, places to walk, and it’s walking distance to after work spots. Culture is largely up to the team you’re on.
