Does anyone know if you have tuition reimbursement if it has to be paid back for being RIF'd or if you decide to take the VSP?

I was on a call where HR was asked this and they said you DO have to pay it back. The VSP says all other agreements remain in place.
I reached out to the vendor, and my people business partner. They both said no, don’t have to pay it back.
They might tell you not to worry about it as another form of pacification.
