How has this worked in your store? We have dock people who are M-F but no fulfillment that are M-F. Have people changed their schedules to accommodate fulfillment requirements?

Our store struggles when signing and truck day is on the same day. For some reason, they can get lots of extra help when fulfillment is in need, but not so much when the dock team needs help. I’m curious how other stores work that out.
Our store just combine the signing/merchandise team with dock and fulfillment team. We started on July 1st. we are one team now and are store is under $20m.
I work the truck and they try to have me go to fulfillment for my last hour of my schedule. When it’s time for me to go …Bye Felicia! Not fair to try and keep us past our schedule…WE ARE NOT SALARY EMPLOYEES!

What do you mean? We are scheduled whenever. If there is a truck on Friday, we work Saturday what’s the difference
