The WFRs are coming in waves. They run through October/ early November. 2k+.
I hear they’re very close to announcing the SMBC divestiture. Is it possible that 2600 figure include employees leaving that way?
Not saying this is not the number as I don't know otherwise. But similar wfr were very large and they were 800 to 1000 people. If it is of this scale then I have no words for the magnitude of the turmoil. But ultimately if you cannot attract new logos and are not prepared to bring solutions on par to competitors coupled with a declining install base(cash cow) and mounting debt, you are left with no alternative. Sad, that we are in this position and I don't see the SMT to change course.
Please let me be one of them. I'm so done with this place.
