EVs are our business and business is good. Snug as a bug in a rug. The rumors of the decline of Model E are greatly exaggerated.
There is still an arm of Ford focused on battery technology.
Model e may not be the official face of the future of Ford Motor Company to the public, but make no mistake, it is still the driving force behind the highest technologies in the company. Leadership decided to better leverage Model e's hi-tech expertise to legacy products by moving its talent under a common umbrella.
While I preferred Model e lead its own successful destiny under DF's leadership, we should understand the bigger picture for the health of the company as a whole.
We had a tremendous run on our own as a intercompany start-up and we need to look forward to the future together.
I guess we all know how tolerant of failure Ford executives are in general because...well.. they are where they're at for a reason. But curious as to how tolerant Kumar will be of the constant failures of an organization that he was handed.
Who could have seen it coming.?
Well I mean we all saw it coming.
Everyone but the F-O's running this company.
Where's the "mobility" guy er DF fanboy. He'll be around soon to dispell any rumours of the demise of model e. 3...2...1. C'mon dude...you know you want to comment, let's have it.
Last I heard, all departments under Doug Field were going to be folded back under Kumar's organization.
I.e. model e (as a stand alone organization) is no more.
No.
