Merit Increases

How is everyone coping with no merit increases this year? Are you all still happy to be doing 2x the work for 1x the pay while your CEO takes home a $16 million dollar pay package, an increase of over $8 million since he joined in 2020?

Let’s not forget the $480MM SAP lawsuit settlement.

So shrinking revenue 20 - 25%, loosing large customers, botched releases, loss of thousands of employees, and a revolving door of barely mediocre C suite executive gets you a huge compensation package? What a joke.

@b1 Is there even an AI program? When I was there no one could figure out what they wanted it to be. The whole plan was throw up fancy buzzwords, let the rank and file try to figure it out, and then change direction in order to repeat the entire process.
Bringing in all those "AI Experts" certainly hasnt paid dividends that Ive seen.

I would have a cheesy grin on my face also if I doubled my salary to $16M, especially given the state of things over the last several years at this place. I would smile all the way to the bank, while the rank and file get 2x-3x the work with no merit increase. 100% agree that it drains the life out of everybody.

It just drains the life out everyone. Nothing to look forward to, whilst SM rakes in millions and enriches himself for having a cheesy grin. What has the world come to?

Idk but I love the way my boss lives their entire life counting jira points while telling everyone above them yes, to all sorts of unreasonable requests.

Meanwhile leadership can't even get on the same page for AI spend and recommends "async mode" over and over. The least they could do is spend 5 minutes to explore and understand Copilot themselves
