I am watching most matches as I like soccer.
But the verizon advertisements, of America’s best network? Isn’t that false advertising? …these days..

I love the headline in a UK news paper today. Bend it like Trump.. (after the movie Bend it like Beckham) re the FIFA corruption and the red card being withdrawn…
The corruption is just crazy!! Maybe the Red card should have just been moved to Verizon.. I mean big Red… re its exit of the good company list. Maybe Trump steps in..
@aa That is not what Root has to say.
We absolutely are the best network still. Tmobile still has absolutely dogshit 4g (5G nationwide)
I'm in Virginia. Every since we got the notice a couple of years ago that our Verizon Wireless tower was being upgraded, our signal had been cr-p. I can stand on my front yard and wait two minutes for a page to load on one to two bars. If I go to my daughter's house 9 miles away close to another tower, full bars and no signal issues. Our neighbors also have Verizon Wireless and have the same issues. I'd switch if T-Mobile didn't also have a cr-p signal in our area. No issues before the tower upgrade. Tech support is aware of the issue but can't fix it. So many people complain about the same issue. Laying off engineers is just making these issues worse.
@dd It’s neither.
Why not advertise as 'The Worlds best Network' rather than 'Americas best Network ' or is that the plan, to get rid of International ?
@OP Technically it is not false advertising as any of the service providers that make this claim require proof from an independent third party testing process or crowd sourced data. The best can be regional or the ads can make claims based on a specific aspect like fastest 5g download speed.
@OP Fios is the best. So there’s that.
Can you hear me now?
if you like paying 2x more for same coverage yes verizon is the best! LOL
this aint 2010. Tmobile is by superior
@OP It is false advertising. But these days, the truth means nothing
It is not false advertising. VZ still the best. Me and my brother were in one of these matches sitting in different sections, I was able to use my phone while he couldn't, he has T-Mobile.
VZ suffers from bloating, way too many teams doing duplicate work, unnecessary layers and layers of band 4,5 and 6 and many unqualified PMTS and DMTS engineers, these are entitled, spoiled who generate no added value to Verizon. the best solution is to get rid of 50% of current work force and start clean, start with Band 4 and should trickle down. To have your trees to bear more and better fruit, prune it first.
