Putting in my two week notice on Monday.
I can't take it anymore.

@k4
The iconic exchange between Cole Trickle (Tom Cruise) and Harry Hogge (Robert Duvall) from the 1990 NASCAR film Days of Thunder.
Where Cole Trickle says to Harry Hogge “ Let me drive. I won't make a fool out of you."
That’s what Hot Mess said to Bill B when the CISO role opened up with the forced departure of Mark M.
@f5 you’re not pitting against your coworkers if you inform them of what’s being asked…don’t loose your integrity on behalf of 3M.
@k1 HotMess, is that you!?
Nah nah nah nah, nah nah nah, good bye.
Very one of you disgruntled agitators who leaves only makes the company better for the rest of us.
I work for one of the large factory and I must say it is becoming a norm to hear colleagues all hoping to get a severance package. Many employees are just qu1et qu1t and waiting for their chances. This is no good for the VPs and Directors as they have disengaged employees. Do more employee pulse surveys please.
I would love to quit. I probably will quit.
Right now I'm in IT, expecting to get laid off.
My boss is a horrible harpy, leadership is entirely absent, clarity and guidance aren't available, and they're trying to pit me against my co-workers.
Currently, I'm hoping for severance. If it happens I'll be glad, but I'm not sure it will. If I have to quit that's financial disadvantageous, but I will anyway, because things are so awful.
One way it another, I won't be working at 3M come September.
Amazing how we lost so much to clueless consultants throwing darts at org charts and clueless executives being convinced over and over and over that we are cutting into prosperity.
You're making the right decision. As was mentioned, Minnesota has several good companies (I'd even claim MANY that surpass 3M in several ways) - take your pick and you will be happier. 3M is completely lost these days.
C0ndolences to OP. Good luck.
3M has lost its business, charm and tech prowess. Minnesota has several good companies where HR is not so harsh and where expertise is respected. Good luck!
Good luck! There are definitely jobs out there with more respect and less stress and uncertainty. Wishing you well.
I am putting my very soon too, really look forward to what comes next
We don't need you, we got Bill
