Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

Key Accounts

Over the years I created relationships with several folks (all key accounts). When I was laid off, I proceeded to tell them all how FIS instructed me to hide SLA misses and breaches at every available opportunity. I didn't tell them NOT to renew, I just told them to be sure they explored all available options.

But honestly I didn't have to do too much. The product was cr-p on a fancy plate.

I'm hoping that it hurt.

The clients weren't d-mb, so they kind of knew it already. I just confirmed it. "Let's make this non-viewable to the client.." Playing with dates and times on reports. Lowering the severity of issues that should be P2 to P3 or even P4 with flimsy justifications for doing so. Lots of ways to do it.

As someone who still has a job, I won't thank you for attempting to make mine too go away, for no gain for yourself.

@OP be careful with what you share. Don't risk losing your severance.

@OP what were the reactions to this disclosure? Please disclose as much as you can. It would be a balm to souls to know that clients had been made aware of the day to day duplicity.

More about instructions to hide the SLA misses, please. Not sure how clients are delivered their SLA information, but it is critical and they never stop talking about it. Instead of focusing on producing a product with the best outcomes all around, they focus on meeting the components of each SLA contract detail. In other words, the bare minimum.
