We might suck at a lot of things, but we sure know how to make a great truck. Give credit where credit's due.

Even those 2015-17 trucks have some issues. Someone I know told me that the transmission selection sensor went out on their's last month and there are no replacements available, they've been on back-order for 8 months and not estimated to be available for a couple more. Word is that this is impacting thousands of owners. Definitely what can be called a "fertilizer festival."
Don't kid yourselves. The F150 has an aluminum body, but plenty of steel to rust underneath. In fact, the under carriage is a rust bucket by time the trucks arrive at the dealership. This is a well documented issue.
@1lgx Show me a steel vehicle that is 10+ years old in Michigan with no rust.
The 2009-2014 F150 is a decent truck but they are serious rust buckets. Havent you noticed them in Detroit area? Thankfully it moved to aluminum because our corrosion team doesnt know how to prevent rust, that is da ng clear.
The 2015-2017 are really good trucks. New ones not so much.
F-150, as with other Ford products, always had electrical issues. It just got worse, when software and complexity was introduced.
Sorry, but 21MY and beyond not doing it for me. For the amount of money not worth the adventure. I think the competition has a more compelling offering. I like how we spent all that money bringing an old diesel to the F150 to pull the plug a couple years later. And the engine lineup itself makes no sense, too much complexity for the customer to even understand what they are paying for. The V8 likes to drink oil. The 10spd sucks. Everything started to go downhill when they switched from steel to aluminum. Your competition stuck with steel and that ki---d us on cost. 2011-2014MY F150, solid for the most part. More sensible engine lineup, gave the customer what they needed, cheaper to produce, and we tossed it.
F150 is overrated and the quality is abysmal. that's why GM and Ram have been slowly overtaking the F150. By 2025 F150 will be in third place.
Only 8 recalls on the 2022 F-150. You really celebrating this as a win?
Last April (2022) my 2019 F-150 Sport had 10,323 miles on it. It needed the oil pan replaced due to leakage. It was at the dealer for three weeks.
I don't call that a great truck or a good customer experience.
Except that in 2022, F150 sales DECLINED to 640,000, from 726,000 sold in 2021, a 13% decline. GM sells more trucks, but they don’t all have the same name.
