Fun fact:
Val actually petitioned the producers of Top G-n Maverick to include Scotty into a non speaking role in the opening scenes. There were several takes with Scotty, however it was decided not to use those scenes due to his excessive handwaving he insisted in doing. Try to imagine this happening with him not speaking.....

Yeah, I watched the video - he mentioned Ford getting rude of Argo with the 2.7 billion write down, but he never actually said Ford would cease operations in 2023, just couldn’t believe they would write down that much money. He doesn’t know Ford very well…
He did make one salient point, that AV vehicles can’t exist with non AV on the same road system - that is true and the real
reason why don’t have level 5 AV’s yet and likely never will except with certain situations, no one wants to spend the money to create two separate road systems
