Do you think Sarah London has any idea who The Clash even are.
This has bugged me for a long time.

Should I stay or should I go now?
I’ll see myself out.
@a3 I wish they would sue her for copyright infringement thy would be perfect poetic justice
@OP maybe she saw that movie with the song in it. It’s a pretty popular song used on a lot of movies.
The origin of the phrase London Calling actually came from the BBC during WW2, when they would sign on for a broadcast. I only know this because I watch a lot of WW2 documentaries!!
I too am a huge Clash fan and find it irritating that she is stepping on something meaningful to me.
BTW, check out Joe Strummer and the Mescalaros. May he rest in peace.
@bg right!!!!!
this is just like Rage Against the Machine being Paul Ryan’s “favorite band”.
I just get thrown off by the corporate appropriation of that song in this instance. I guarantee you no one up in this c suite actually listens to the band and if they do, they certainly don’t understand them.
I seriously doubt it. She seems like a very out of touch person.
LOLLLLL. I've thought the same (and I love The Clash, which makes it all the more infuriating).
