How is there a hiring freeze with new positions posted at a lower pay range? They are literally playing in our faces and it’s disappointing to witness.

I think their game is to hire new players they can 1) pay a much lower salary/hourly rate to , and 2) train new hires to play the game by these new “rules/changes”. Not fair to high performers who actually put over 100% into their mission, but it is ALWAYS about money over mission in corporate world.
