@sh it’s flexible hours, not reduced hours. You can’t clock in at 10am, take a 1hr lunch and clock off at 3pm. That would be nice though…
So revenue targets aren’t reduced, the share price has no improvement, the salary raises this year have been one of the worst, then they moved a large chunk of employees out of FIS to cognizant in order to reduce the cost while laying off another. How on earth this women has come up with justification that less hours in a week are going to bring happiness to shareholders and employees? Or is it that end of flex Fridays will give them enough data to reduce more manpower?
Before I got RIF'd I would take early Fridays anyways. That place wasn't worth the stress.
Must be so nice! I’m an information analyst who supports a hefty amount of AMs. Very cool that I don’t get the same treatment because I’m hourly. My whole team is salary though 🫠
This could’ve been handled so much better. Managers should have just let us know that we were getting two free days of PTO or something, I would have never noticed she was gone by 3 on Fridays. It just felt super tone deaf.
@ak I was thinking they would say 20k people leaving 2 hours early is 40k man hours a week. So we can fire a thousand people, take away the 2 hours off, and the same amount of work gets done.
I'm just waiting for them to clarify and say that you can only leave early if you've already hit at least 40 hours.
When do you think they’ll start ladling out free slop from the cafeteria to buy a little goodwill?
