@ar 20B in debt? Not looking good. I wonder what the current debt to capital ratio is?

Do Education and STAR fall under the AG?

@aq selling the star network is an act of extreme desperation. And it begs the question of what other core assets are in discussions of being sold? I remember a year ago at an all hand ML said if the company couldn’t turn it around, then we would cease to have a company. I think we are close to that becoming true…

@ar where’s the cash going? Isn’t it obvious? Wage theft’s gone digital, now it’s the AI and the executives splitting the raise, and you’re not invited to either meeting.

Parts are being sold off but where is the cash going? There’s an obvious cash crunch. We know the overall business is not growing so there’s no new or increased cash coming in. Costs are going up. Clients continue to negotiate for lower pricing. The debt is still over 20 billion. So are they using sale proceeds just to stay afloat? Or, siphoning off the cash at exec levels knowing that a) a sale of everything or b) bankruptcy are the eventual answers?

@am the STAR network is one of the largest PIN debit networks in the US so despite it not being considered a core business it still is surprising they are shopping that around

What is going to be left is the question. The debit networks are pretty important. This is a sign of a very sick company.

Really, unless you haven't been paying attention, this should not come as a surprise. All non-core businesses are being sold off. Education, ATMs, now the debit networks themselves...
