@qw nobody but a fool is about to fall for the "move to a hub to keep your job" ploy again
@qw From your lips to God's ears. I would welcome being replaced by a new hire in a hub.
Sorry, but some of the comments here look like spam. They are generic enough to be about any company. Seems like a bunch of non-State Farm people trolling.
Remote employees I would get my resume ready, they are about force you into a hub or replace your job in the hub. They want everyone connected to a slave hub city! They are purging anything that is left of the old SF, and remote employees are the last of that connection. It reminds them of their complete failure of a business model and does not fit into their burger flipper hiring strategy.
I moved across country and don't regret it a bit. What I do miss was only the job I once had. I was able to retire at 57 while I watched all the other su-kers work to 65 because of multiple (up to 5) divorces, alimony, substance abuse and so on. Don't miss it at all!
@qe I had a hotspot wifi from work. I was able to go anywhere, have the laptop in my backpack, checking for email, sit in restaurants. Best ⁴ years of my working life.
I didn’t move and now work from home. I love it. Catching up on Netflix shows, doing chores and surfing all day long.
That's your own stupidity for moving across the country for a job. Especially with this stupid company.
Ahh new hires posting, the force out has been going on more than 15 years. This isn't new, unfortunately.
But hey at least they are not closing offices and forcing people to move across country only to turn around and let everyone who didn't move stay WFH while those who did move cant move back due to in office requirements.
When you hire check the box burger flipper workers and pay them nothing, don't train them, they have no clue what they are doing, too stupid to figure it out, fire all of them every 2-3 years and you don't pay claims....easy to increase investments and net worth! Also if you rig the numbers and collect too much in premiums ....that is the definition of going woke and running a scam to increase net worth...."broke" is just not about the money....
@gv it must be wonderful being so ignorant regarding mutual companies and how they work.
@fc State Farm's net worth went up $25 billion to $170 billion in 2025. Perhaps their motto is "if you go woke, you get rich".
@gt no no no sir no no no the India it team is great success sir you will see
Exec needs to take the company public. They could become billionaires overnight. Do it now!!!!
@OP I remember when SF got rid of 1000 IT workers and replaced them with Indian HCL employees. I also remember claims and all the other call center people saying, GOOD RIDDANCE TO THE OVERPAID PEOPLE.
Hmmm, I just wonder.
Get your Workday updated! They are about to clean house again! Harkens back to the past when they cleaned out Auto and Fire claims before future state! Purged the CM/SMs.... Automation is getting U/W folks out the door! Growth is slowing ....agents are p-ssed! MT and JF destroyed the SF brand, the regulators and politicians are after us now, and the negative on-line posts are plentiful! The Burger King workforce and check the box leaders are expediting the demise! Well deserved SF, it was a train wreck we have seen coming for a long time! Just pay the severance .....please!
@ef I also figured out that management's template fixation was because they were feeding AI. Same as the CX Live emphasis even after COVID. They wanted us to keep doing that as much as possible when a just a photo or two or phone scoping would work. Plus enter measurements and scope in there. Anyone who uses the file note templates or CX Live is training their replacement.
State Farm has learned (or maybe not) if you go woke you go broke....it started about 20 years ago and accelerated during COVID. Everything and I mean everything, no just at SF, has gotten worse. Some people can connect the dots and some can't! Decade after decade lowering the bar to accommodate certain groups of people, finally catches up with you. Easiest lesson you learn in life, you always get what you pay for! No shortcuts in life! Karma is a b-tch SF! The fatigue is real!
@aa @bd This is all the 2000 workforce's fault! If they never hired them, then we wouldn't be here now. They made terrible decisions and were terrible people, then they had terrible children who were not left behind.
You see how d-mb that sounds? You probably don't.
Maybe 2040 will swoop in and save the day, because they can't do much worse than the Boomers have!
Brethren take heart knowing their will be no State Farm executives, Section Managers, TM’s, Facilitators or agent in Heaven! They have earned their fate in
He-l. Burn baby burn! 👹
Remember folks that is the plan! If it walks like a duck, looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck! They are running a burn and churn, pump and dump scam! Get you in for a couple of years and run you off. Keeps salaries at a minimum, your PTO time down and little to no 401k match..... Basically you are trash to throw away everyday! Every word out of upper leadership's mouth is a pure lie! It not your TMs or SMs fault as they have zero authority to change anything structurally at State Farm and if they try to, they are labeled as trouble makers and their lives are made more miserable then it already is. Leave this place, it is a total complete sh-t hole!
Previous poster you are right. It takes years to gain the needed experience for claims. The work keeps piling up because the force out is getting the newer employees and their work is then spread out to other employees and is either worked incorrectly or not at all and complete junk. Apparently all the new templates we fill out are training Ai to do our jobs.
@bj It's pretty obv that they are doing this intentionally but how can they see how much work there is in claims and decide that they can afford to run off their workforce? They do this when they feel like they have the upper hand and it will be tolerated by the employees or they can bounce because someone else will take the job. The disrespect for claims employees is palpable. It takes training and years of experience to have a lot of competence but they view it as if they are hiring dishwashers or something.
Its exactly what you'd imagine. Forcing out workers without having to pay a severance or exit offer. Making employees more and more miserable. Adding more and more on until employees finally give up and leave.
@bd I love when wingnuts glom onto shoddy inflammatory reports and sing high praises when stuff confirms their priors. Too bad information literacy is considered 2040 and increasingly banned at educational institutions.
2040 workforce is what the executive on the secret camera video talked about that State Farm wants a workforce that looks like America in 2040 which sounds like it means quotas
At least provide some info, this low quality vague posting su-ks, and no one knows WFT your 2040 talk is....and clearly they just want as few humans as possible working here, no matter the long term cost. Remember these executives are paid bonuses for improving short term metrics at the expense of long term company stability. Remember how much they rewarded Tipsord for doing what the board wanted so badly?
Rot starts with our board, which is destroying this company. Get rid of our destructive board members and the company will turn around, if not, long slow march to irrelevance.
The platforms and HR/SHRM systems and handling of employee and job applicant and policyholders data are very risky and poor
But hey. The leaders all get more points and can get more bonus and promotions.
While working class get left with the sack of nothing.
Not a new phenomena. Many issues with what the Tech Mgt implemented and HR systems for sure.
Humans are expendable and a cost. SAP process and platforms really were poor strategy but kickbacks galore.
Nothing to see here.
Yes it is, they have to run off any of the remaining people that have a clue....they need drones, lemmings, and cannon fodder. Ohhhh and got to hit the Deloitte and Touche Level 4 diversity model.....2040 workforce! Sorry white males, you are not included in the future business model..... Trans Gender Jake here we come!
