Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Worked for more than 18 hours during Covington, got 3 am texts from boss

Now they are forcing to sit in the office for 8 hours. Any idea if this will get any better. Especially corporate risk where you have to be there for 8 hours for 4 days feels like there is no life

@bp pre-pandemic a huge number of Wells Fargo workers had signed telecommute agreements (that WF quietly and unilaterally invalidated in 2022). I was on four separate teams from 2017-2022 that had all or a majority of workers working from home full time. And even if you didn't have such an arrangement, no one really thought twice about working from home for a bit if you needed too, or dipping out early to transport your kids from school to daycare before wrapping up your day at home. You certainly didn't need to grovel to your manager for accommodations or try to work around completely inflexible monitoring software.

I realize there are some younger folks who never experienced flexibility until the pandemic forced companies' hands. But for folks further along in their careers, this was completely normal. Wells has regressed significantly as our c-suite has chased attrition.

@c4 you'd lick Charlie's crack clean if he'd let you go back to fapping on your couch all day and pretending to work. Why dont you crawl over there on your hands and knees and beg him for the opportunity like the good dog you are.

@bp

So, bootlicker, we should never strive for any improvements or advances? Just remain in stasis, frozen in early 2020 for eternity?

That's odd. I've always thought "that's the way it's always been done" is a lazy and complacent approach. But I suppose you know better.

Since you are in a nostalgic mood, can you bring us back to when we could openly smoke right at our desks? Hopefully, you are good for something after all...

Pre-pandemic the majority of workers did 5 days in office for 8 hours a day. If you can’t be an adult and handle 4 days, nobody is stopping you from quitting

Bootlicker, you truly worked 18 hours for sh---y Wells Fargo, you are too dimwitted to continue here. Maybe be a little smarter at your next position.

Tone deaf narcissist. People lost their jobs today and you are on here whining about how many hours you have to go to the office? Poor baby. Hope you are let go next, see how terrible an office is. Quit, go somewhere else, stop with this childish whining. Loser
