@av oh ok. Well I did read that earlier in the week but then was told by a coworker the whole deadline was extended to accept or deny. If given the chance, I hit that accept button right now. Sigh

I would like to be given a chance to accept at this point due to all the BS back and forth this is so unfair

If you applied and get denied you can appeal. There might be a way to appeal if you didn't get the proper notification(s) since you are in leave. I would be calling and demanding someone to help you. Hope you are able to get a chance that you deserve.
@am I’ve been out on medical leave and had no idea the deadline was extended. I am super frustrated that they sent the original VSP email to my personal email. I was on the fence and literally inpatient during the deadline & not able to apply even at the last minute. Now to find out I missed an extended chance to take it because they did NOT bother to inform me of anything else after the first email. My tunnel is seriously dark. I can’t even apply for a new job at this time. Praying my position is not one of the chosen.
I only recinded my application because my partner was very concerned that I may not be able to find another job in a timely manner. I started worrying myself after reading job postings, seeing posts on social media, and reading comments on them stating people have been out of work for a year or more job seeking. I guess I'll take my chances and just continue applying out until I find something better. Pretty bummed that my light at the end of the tunnel went out.
What town hall?
Talking about things that most people don’t care about right now. That information may not even pertain to many of us if we lose our job. It was hard listening as they tried to ignore or step around the big elephant in the room.

Well Centene right now is having a Townhall meeting discussing their mission simplify or AKA “mission cutbacks” . VSP is not in the agenda. So obviously these presenters are numb and could care less about what everyone in this meeting is most concerned about which is OUR JOBS!!!!!
