Why can’t they ever get a proper enterprise leader from a proper b2b company? Katz, Callie, Andre and now Chris. No one has the chops to build a b2b org that could really become the next growth engine.

What a great idea! Hire a c-suite retread from a failing competitor. Like my grandfather used to say “can’t fix stupid”.

Hearing the Tmo is heavly recruiting another AT&T leader who is a Marketer.

Got from a friend of a friend, trying to get the numbers to work.

Hoping to post more in the next 2 weeks

Chris Sambar, not a bad resume:

  • 22 Years at AT&T, serving in various leadership roles in sales and network operations
  • Retired Naval officer and Navy SEAL
  • Served in the Navy, 7 years active duty, 16 years in the reserves
  • Multiple deployments throughout Europe, the Middle East, and one tour of duty during the Iraq war in 2005
  • Bachelor of Science degree from The United States Naval Academy
  • MBA from the University of Southern California

The Public Storage, CMO stint was probably because of a non-compete clause, IMVHO.

Another AT&T retread, who went on to Public Storage. CMO for a storage company???? He must have been a cr--kerjack at ATT to go there.
