@ea 6 month medical is for management riff lol . Whatever the eisp offer is … you can bet that it was negotiated and signed off on back during contract negotiations
@az lol why would they leave if they didn’t leave for 50k + 2200/yr cap at 30 yr …. Adding 1100 /yr won’t entice anyone …. That’s 33k minus taxes …. Many that are in their 50’s are looking at 10 years till Medicare .. a fair estimate of costs with how they’ve recently risen is 100k … a triple eisp only takes care of 1/3 of that…. So if they didn’t take the last one which was while retiree Medical was low … they ain’t taking this one … simple math … vz f’d up by not taking care of retiree healthcare
Last offer i got was 6 months of medical, probably same deal will be offered but it would be nice if they sweetened it.
@d6 that was pretty much the last offer . I do hear the company is going to do something with medical. A prepaid card with a cap to use towards coverage. It will help bridge the people who or 60 plus . IMO
In English shim probably meant $3,300 per year of service plus $50,000 bonus.
@aq With medical insurance caps being breached now, you are correct. 50k + $2200 (or $3300) per year and some kind of bridge to Medicare age would get a lot of people to leave.
Points and an extra 50K, will be good for those already thinking about leaving. But it's not enough to get those not ready to retire for a few more years.
I heard it’s the super secret quadruple one. Why not, most of the cr-p on here is nonsense anyways.
Please rewrite for those of us that speak and read English. Thanks.
