It is going to be tough to find a tech job with all of the layoffs across multiple industries.

Amazon hired additional 100,000 during the pandemic shutdown since everyone was online shopping. Other companies did the same too.
I doubt very much that a former amazon employee and intel employee will be looking at the same jobs unless it is in the retail or fast food industries as a last resort.
I don't think Amazon is laying off their techs.
