Sounds like a lot of mediocre male Shell lifers nearing the end of their time on farm and lashing out that the world no longer revolves around them.

the subject of the post is literally “Shell lifers nearing the end of their time on farm”
it’s not possible to be any more on-topic
sure many have been fired for fear of them getting their 80 points first
but plenty remain and there DEI appointees remain. making sure to keep things as indian and female as possible or grasping at straws with he/him pronouns in their bro
You’re both ch-des, now shut up and let’s go get that bag.
@bw not sure there are many boomers left at Shell making you a victim?
there is no strategic or scientific reason to intentionally make your business more “diverse”
it’s nothing more than a trend which has already aged very poorly and will continue to do so. there is no goal for it. there is only asking for more and generation when it is achieved by any means necessary.
that being said, OP is wrong actually. boomers love DEI. they will do anything they can do to make the world worse as long as it benefits them in some way. me me me me me. one last wash KPI for bonus on the way out. one last tax benefit that the youth pay for. save 5$ an hour by hiring abroad. as long as it all collapses after they’re gone, they don’t care. they got theirs.
Shell should buy Disney and make DEI movies.
I feel like that is what shell has done the last 5 years with all these reorgs. They are using these as a great way to balance out the DEI metrics. When Convent shutdown they did the same thing. My exact role was open as part of the SVS openings and I was not placed. Someone with limited experience in my technical field was placed there. That is what showed me that Shell does not value deep technical expertise. Thankfully I have moved on and found a company that values technical expertise.
@b4 you are so deep in the closet you’ve discovered Narnia!
Oh sc--w you dude or are you a trans person the world does revolve around the long employed employees you’re just jealous because you can’t Handel it. So go back in your bed room closet and have your trans f-g lock the door and throw away the key.
Go spend an hour in your safe space, away from those nasty microagressions.
I don’t care what pantone your skin is , how you orient yourself in this world , or which deity you obsess over.. I just want our leaders to know what makes money! Cha-ching baby, what makes the revenue goes in the right direction sustainably. That is what we are short on. Too many score card warriors and technical navel gazers. Get that dough , scrilla, cheese , paper, dinars, coin, we gotta get all oiled up!
@a4 you’re shouting at an imaginary boogeyman
Or we are tired of lowering our standards and accepting mediocre-at-best results in order to prop up gender and/or cultural "equality".
Be unobtrusive, do quality work, and maintain a low profile. There would be no backlash if the DEI brigade could just stay in their lanes and follow these simple guidelines.
Can't even do that now, can you?
