Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Very much grateful

Taking a moment to appreciate my time at Teradata San Diego.

On the Customer Success team, I've learned that great technology only matters when it changes something real for the people using it — and I've gotten to see that happen week after week. The talent here is remarkable, but what stands out most is the culture: people who share credit freely, jump in without being asked, and genuinely root for one another.

Add in the energy of the San Diego campus, and it's easy to see why this place is special.

Proud and grateful to be part of this team. 🧡

@gb If you are a happy and successful Teradata employee, what possible reason would you have to hang out on a board about Teradata layoffs? Unless you are an HR troll.

@gb Hahaha. Considering Teradata’s results, it looks like you are the useless one. If you were any good, an actual AI company would have hired you. But keep telling yourself how good you are.

@ft You are useless brother. You realize that Teradata is actively working towards becoming an AI company and is investing in the future?

You likely are a hack that can't cut it anywhere or you probably don't even work for Teradata.

@fa hahahah. Just enjoying your tortured logic, super-engineer. Looking at Teradud’s results, you are deluding yourself that you are creating value. You are apparently bringing nothing to the table.

@f3 why are you so salty? Just because I do my job and get paid? You need to get your act together and put down your iPhone buddy. I'm delivering value you're doom scrolling and posting here.

I am a cloud engineer here and I'll have to say it's a great place to be. You might get hate here but a lot of people are salty that they have to do work

Hahahaha. It looks like the two people left in marketing figured out how to use Teradata AI to make up troll posts. I guess it’s good at least one company uses it.

Perfect description of exactly what customers who have switched from Teradata to Snowflake feel like.

@c7 Agreed. The first sentence being the title, the use of “—“, certain phrasing, and the ending emoticon is the dead giveaway. No way this is not AI slop.

Very much yawn

Last few moments to appreciate the time done at Teradata

On any team, worker bees learned that great technology only matters when it is put to bed — and that happen week after week. What smells the most is the culture.

Add in the silence of the San Diego campus, and it's easy to see why this place is what it is.

Cannot wait to not be part of this team. No credit, bad credit no problem.
