Yes in some areas if you have the licensed paid version and don't use it at least 3 days per week on average you will lose it.

They have used Claude (Hades) to train an AI humanoid. They have named it Alessandro.

The paid version of CoPilot 365 costs $30/person-month.....there's no way the company can't justify an additional $360/year; even the worst employee will save that much using it.

@kq the problem is that if they don’t think you are valuable enough to deserve the paid version, that’s a problem also.

@eb thanks I was wondering about this. I have the unpaid version so they can GTFO with their monitoring

I received an automated response saying that I did not use it at least 30 times in the last 30 days. It said if I violate again, my manager will be informed. If I violate a 3rd time, HR will be informed. Can’t make this up

The a--clowns have now issued version #10+ of their AI policies. Now, apparently, you can have up to 150K tokens / month as a developer but if you get close to that some minion will review your situation and might allow more tokens but likely not.

As of today they claim they're not trying to stifle AI usage. A different week, a different set of sh-t these mo--ns have created for public consumption.

A Fortune 500 company being led by a dude with a sociology degree and some chick with an associates degree. Good times!!!

@b7 I've heard that if you have the paid version, they will track how much you use it. If you have the free version still, they don't track usage to that degree. That's my understanding anyway.

I know of some team members who have been notified if they don’t use copilot 3 days a week. Not firm wide yet though. So that makes sense 3/5 days is 60% a week. Has to do with licensing with Microsoft.
