CXO leadership silence

Anyone else sitting through leadership calls wondering why we’re discussing business as usual while avoiding the question that’s on everyone’s mind?

@OP Because until the hammer actually drops, it is business as usual. You work, they pretend to work, same ole, same ole.

@OP Their main function these days is to lay people off but they are sworn to secrecy so it’s better for them to avoid any contact with underlings so as to avoid awkward conversations.

What is to be said. Not much leadership left, most of its already gone. Lot of director level could be notified tomorrow they are actually being impacted themselves. Rest of the organization will find out on Thursday. Sorry you’re in that position in that organization which will likely be heavily impacted. Just need to understand everyone is just going through the same thing. Doesn’t matter what your title is.
