PPDM was the biggest steaming pile of horse shiiiiit from day #1. Everyone who worked on it should be fired on the spot!
My customers are ripping it out of their test environments, which they could never get to fully work, in droves. What a complete joke of an Enterprise software product. Pathetic.

India is now the think tank for Cyber Resilience. Most of the new positions are over there and the US folks are getting canned because of that. Only leaving US folks for support and handling customer escalations.
@OP no real customers on PPDM. Maybe they tell you there's 1000 but that can be bundled with a bridge I have for sale. Veeam has over half a million customers cohesity and rubrik 10s of thousands. Sure people still use DD as a target they love managing islands of storage arrays that use 8TB spinning drives. Go ahead and price out an all flash DD it's millions of dollars no one is buying unless they are f ing ret8rds who backed themselves into a corner.
@bb Wrong! Nobody's Monday morning quarterbacking here. Some of us have been calling out PPDM's failures since day one. Engineering could never deliver a single completed feature on time. The entire product was put together with bailing wire and duct tape. And it never worked at Enterprise scale. Nothing new about that. We've been saying that for 8 years now.
@ac ecdm the precursor to PPDM. So easy to Monday morning quarter back all the ill fated decisions of the past. What is left is a shambles some talented people that are among the laziest in Dell. Soon their day of reckoning will be upon us. It's like starting to run a marathon when the competition is at mile marker 26. It's over baby
