Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Amazon layoffs

I know this might be a stupid question but I'd rather ask and know than not ask and possibly stress over something for no good reason. Are we going to be included in the announced Amazon layoffs? With 18,000 people slated to be let go, what are the chances some of them will be from Whole Foods?

dont be scared of losing a low paying trash job. value your time and life more lol

they dont pay TM's enough so the cuts will probably be mostly corporate if they actually want to save money. Whole foods, being the absolute trash run company that it is, is trying to pad the books to make itself look profitable. Thats why hours will stay but. The last time they did this was to lure Amazon into buying their dogsht brand that couldnt make money. Im not saying they are doing it this time but it makes you think...

Amazon doesnt need WF anymore. Maybe it wants the locations but not the brand. The only thing they did to benefit the company while pillaging it was scare away all the pale tofu eating vegans with green hair. They were a nightmare to work with.

We can't afford to lose anymore workers at the store level. We are already overworked and understaffed. Please stop the layoffs, how many billions can these owners have before they are happy and stop ki----g low level workers? Having the biggest yacht in the world isn't enough? Maybe if his ex wife purchased us things would be different.
