You get 3 weeks for every year you worked as a severence and all the indirects offer you a job in the same location. Y’all knew it was coming…take the package and keep a job or collect UI. Not many other job losses at other companies come with a fail safe.

Take the severance, cobra and unemployment and look for wireless job other than Verizon . If you weren’t happy with corporate way of doing business, you won’t be happy with Agents either .
They have always offered severance ! I call bullsh-t @af
I don’t think anyone is getting a package with this.
Just an FYI, our agent matched our corp salaries and may even keep you as a non-selling manager. They need you for the transition but as soon as they are staffed and they have someone that they think will do the job the same as every other store in their busjnesss for half the salary, you’ll be dismissed without cause, if you’re dealing with a right to work company.
My advice is to take the severance and the indirect offer as a bridge. It’s guaranteed money while you search for the next more permanent spot.
From a Dec divestiture, I wish you all the best. You won’t miss the disconnection of upper leadership or the hypocrisy of ‘sales directives’ anymore, which feels better than you can imagine.
