Why do the follow the work letters that are going out have Dallas listed when we are moving our headquarters 20 miles north in Plano? That is like a 45 min drive just between the locations.
How inconvenient to require people to drive to the Dallas location when the location is changing in 2 years. Who even comes up with this stuff? It is like they are actively trying to cause unnecessary stress and inconvenience to their employees.

Dallas HQ to Plano might be less than 50miles, but in rush hour traffic that commute is easily 1 hour, plan your residence carefully.

Everyone knows you rent at least the first year wherever you move to. In this case they're telling you a move is necessary in two years. Rent for two years.
@as the DART rail is dangerous. My manager was attacked and had her phone/purse stolen one morning coming to work. Ask any first responder, DART is a haven for bad actors.
Either way Stankey gets a company chauffeur to drive him from his home in Highland Park to Plano!
They can’t exactly have people transferring to Plano, there is no ready facility. 2 years for it to be ready is long time. Locate to Plano Frisco Richardson area for housing and drive or take Dart rail down until then. Not rocket science.
Move you to Dallas then move you to Plano. They want max pain in hopes you quit. Unda?

You’re better off obviously getting a place in a suburb and su-king it up for two years and commuting to Dallas…
The appropriate thing would be for them to fu-k off with the letters until the Plano campus is done and let people work from wherever they want, but Stankey is a class A a--hole and the goal isn’t to keep you, it’s to get you to quit - so ofc they’re sending them out hoping you’ll quit.
