That is media speech, he has no active role and Dan is not asking him anything as he does not care what Hans has to say. Hans is riding out his contract

I know that some VTeamers do not like Hans but I really liked him. He created an energized work force. He recognized employees. He visited locations. He celebrated wins. His meeting were full of energy and electricity. He visited our location and everyone was so excited to meet him. He was like a Rock Star. With our current leadership (which most are gone by the way), there is no energy, no spark. It's like we are working in a morgue now. Everything is dying or dead.

Whether it’s hob nobbing with his best bud, Roger Goodell at the Super Bowl or taking advantage of front row seats on the glass to watch Henrik Lundqvist celebrate his last game. Who could refuse a round of golf with the Great Greg Norman! There are too many out of this world experiences to mention.
Hats off to Han5 for taking advantage of opportunities outside of his standard compensation package and giving positions to so many senior directors and avps.

Would the HR please use AI to determine holidays and avoid scheduling a layoffs around them, like Thanksgiving and Mother’s Day!
Hopefully, the next CEO will turn things around in a positive manner with value to Verizon Employees, satisfaction to its customers, and good returns to investors!

Individuals will remain on the Org chart in the system as long as they are being paid. Not severance, but a regular bi-weekly pay check. This is not uncommon especially at the EVP level. You can always tell with someone decided to leave vs was asked to leave. They have to remain in the system. As far as responsibilities, that's a fake title. There isn't any. I worked for an EVP that was let go and they don't continue on in deciding anything. Hans is living his life, as he should. Why shouldn't he? VZ makes the rules on how you are handled when asked to leave.... didn't most of those that were part of these layoffs in NJ not work for the 90 days you were given on payroll? Doesn't matter the level, it's the same concept.
I beg you to stop posting on Hans..it just reminds everyone how inept the current Board is and highlights Verizon culture and success is gone under Vz symbol. Next stop is a merger and Vz execs all gone. Maybe a DEI is left in HR/Marketing/Communications where less damage can be done.
You do realize that "special advisor" is a way to make his non-compete / golden parachute more tax and CV friendly. He isn't even allowed into the building.
His last day was Oct 6 2025. The rest is just accounting and window dressing. Stop pretending that he works here anymore.
Hans was always like this. I saw him first hand rehearsing for crying for you know who and repeated that a couple of times on camera.

I wonder if all these insta posts about golfing, or running, or attending concerts is Hans's way of saying FU to the BOD or to the employees who celebrated his departure. He could enjoy these activities without posting but he's obviously trying to rub someone's nose in it.

I'm confused by the posts on this site sometimes bc I thought everyone wanted Hans gone? He's not CEO anymore. Dan is. So why does it matter if he was at a concert at this point. It was a hard day but you guys got what you wanted when the board ousted him. Keep the accountability on the execs who are making the decisions now.
