You have to look to Watson Health for your answer. You got 90 days to find another job, and if you didn’t, IBM RA’ed you.
What if you can't find a different job at IBM after being told to redeploy? Is there some formal notice you are giving with the rules/protocol of the redeployment process? Do they place you into another position if you can't find something on your own ?
Not just 5 years ago… several mini redeployments in between in pockets, and redeploying senior top sales into sales territories where the accounts were not able to support the 650% quota increases so they could get rid of the rep in three months for performance… etc

Exactly what IBM did to a quite a number of us older workers 5 years ago. Ageism is big at IBM and IBM is good at hiding it.
