How would you compare us to the rest of competition?
I am interested in opinions of folks that worked for other companies.

Can we go back to GTE? Bell Atlantic? AirTouch? ALLTEL? Like something not Verizon. This place BL0WZ.
At this particular time you really think you're going to get an honest assessment on this page. From jaded possibly very recently laid off people, if youre trying to make yourself feel better find another way.
the benefits are good and policies are fair which is better than other companies, my managers have all also been nice/good. but it’s a badly run company overall that likes to shove problems downstream and the people making decisions have no clue
I’ve worked for several competitors (wireless and wireline). In this economy every telecom operator is struggling. As an employee I’ve always taken pride in my work and Verizon has been by far the best place to work in my
Opinion. Based on the way I’ve been treated, the impact I’ve had and on having been given the opportunity to do my work without being hassled. I understand not everyone shares my sentiment and everyone has different experiences. I must saying some of the other telecoms were so oppressive that it was hard to even get anything done. That has not been my experience here.
